Who We Are:
We have never been more educated than we are today. More people than ever are graduating universities, completing high school, and attending seminars. Despite this, we’ve never felt more lost, confused, and frustrated. This is true even for those graduating some of the country’s best seminaries. Isn’t that odd?
What if we don’t need more formal educations full of five-dollar words? Is it possible we’ve taken a step away from the practical truths of Jesus in favor of stuffy intellectualism that makes Christianity sound relevant?
One Hour. One Book. is a not-for-profit ministry that educates and encourages you through empowering individual, systematic study of the Bible. We believe the essential studies in your Christian life will happen in your Bible, not in a commentary. Further, we believe every Christian is capable of, and responsible for, understanding their Bible with minimal outside commentary.
We aren't a seminary; we don't teach theology, and we don't exist exclusively for the "intellectual" Christian. We teach you how to learn the Bible- all on your own.
